CONGRATULATIONS TO ELMS PLAYER SAM RADIVAN,
Sam, who receives tennis lessons from The Elms at his own school during the week, and is also part of The Elms School of Excellence High Performance squad, is the Under 10’s Champion of the 2012 Aqua Roofing Tournament, the final took place at Pinner LTC – Well done Sam!!

ENFIELD BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT JULY 2012
The Elms Sport in Schools, in partnership with the London Borough of Enfield held their 3rd Basketball Tournament this term. Five schools (Year 2) participated in a term of weekly basketball training, which culminated in a tournament on Tuesday 17th July at Edmonton Leisure Centre.
Congratulations to winners, Eldon Infant School, and runners up Churchfield School – a very close finish.

ABBOTS LANGLEY INTER-SCHOOL TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP 2012

The Elms, in Partnership with Three Rivers District Council, hosted the second year of the Abbots Langley Inter-School Tennis Championship at Leavesden Country Park on Sunday 15th July.
There was a wonderful turnout, with over 300 children taking part. We were very fortunate that the sun decided to come out for the day and the level of tennis from all children was outstanding – a great day for all!
Congratulations to Key Stage 1 winners Abbots Langley School and also congratulations to Key Stage 2 winners Divine Saviour School.
The winners were presented with a trophy and medals by Chairman of Three Rivers District Council – Cllr Kemal Butts. Well done to all players!
The parents met all their children’s expectations on the ‘entertainment’ front too! With the winner being a proud parent from St Pauls School.
Don’t forget to put next years Inter-School Tennis Championship in your diary – Sunday 14th July 2013 – we look forward to seeing you there!
