Course Details
This one day course meets regulatory requirements for First Aid Training covering Emergency Protocols only.
The content of this course provides basic life saving first aid and workplace health and safety regulations, covering the following:
- The role of the First Aider
- Managing an emergency
- Communication and casualty care
- Bleeding (minor and severe)
- Burns
- Fainting
- Health and Safety (first aid) regulations
- Resuscitation (adult CPR)
- Seizures (adult)
- Shock
- Unresponsive casualty
Assessment
Written assessment and continuous observation by the trainer.
Certification
All candidates will receive an Emergency First Aid at Work certificate which is valid for 3 years.
