LTA Tennis Leaders Award
The Elms Sport in Schools are proud to be authorised by The Lawn Tennis Association to deliver The British Tennis LTA Tennis Leaders Course.
This scheme is the first step on the pathway to a career in tennis. We cover all 4 modules providing candidates with enhanced skills, experience and a recognised qualification.
There are a number of options for this course:
- Delivered as an intensive one week course, 10.00am – 3.00pm during school holidays
- Delivered as a weekly 1 hour course (over 2 terms)
- Delivered as a weekly 2 hour course (over 1 term)
Open to children aged 13-16 years.
UPDATE The Elms recently held this course for Parmiters School and St Michaels School in Abbots Langley. The course was a huge success and two students went on to work for The Elms at our annual Abbots Langley Inter-School Championship, held at Leavesden Country Park.
LTA Competition Organiser Course
Head Coach James Vaughan is a qualified LTA Tutor which qualifies him to tutor the Competition Organiser Course.
This is a brand new course for 13 – 18 year olds and we shall be publishing further details shortly.
