This is a 12 hour modular course. Candidates will complete the following modules:
- Setting up a Club (including school/club links)
- Body Management
- Floor Skills
- Vaulting (basic)
- Acrobatic Gymnastics
- Rhythmic Gymnastics
Course Details
The course will engage and involve candidates, build confidence in the approach to Gymnastics and will develop the necessary skills required to teach set moves, to include apparatus and incorporate sequencing into lessons.
To understand and underpin good body management, to identify and remedy common faults and to develop subject knowledge for further skill acquisition courses.
All modules take into consideration the age and stage of development of each individual child. All our course leaders are highly qualified in Gymnastics and the needs of the teacher, delivering up-to-date advice and guidance with a fresh and enthusiastic approach.
Teachers who successfully complete the course will receive an accreditation certificate along with a Resource Pack containing helpful, practical tips.
